Dillon. You’re a great dude and I’ve appreciated your content for years. That said I think this is the best thing you’ve ever written. I hope you know how much so many of us appreciate you, what you do and the content you create, but I also hope you know how many of us care about you as a human being and want you to be happy. I don’t mean to come off as parasocial but you, Will, and Dave have shared so much of your lives with all of us and I think I speak for all backers when I say that we’re all always rooting for all of you.

I hope you have a merry Christmas Dillon, you truly deserve it.

I don’t know Dillon really, we’ve met twice in a content producer/consumer environment. I don’t know his family at all. And as someone who comes from a well-loved, “typical” upbringing, it terrifies me to be a recently-married person thinking about starting a family and seeing divorce stats these days.

If I do find myself having to go through that, I hope the outcome is a seemingly mutually loving and supportive system for my kids as The Homie has. I don’t purport to know all the intricacies but Dillon sure seems to have given his whole heart to his son without reserving any for frustration or contempt. Truly leading with love.

It’s different than traditional, sure. But boy, does it seem like there’s love there. And frankly, that’s what I remember from my youth more than anything.
